Hi,

2 (x-5) < 4x
2x-10 < 4x ...expand bracket
2x-10-4x < 0 ....subtract 4x from both sides
-2x -10 < 0 .... add the x's
-2x < 10 .... add 10 to both sides
-x < 5 .... divide both sides by 2
or
x > -5 ... multiply both sides by -1 and switch the < sign to > sign

Answer: x > -5
